FiXT is proud to announce Comaduster as the inaugural signing to the label's newest division – FiXT Labs! To celebrate this partnership, FiXT and Comaduster are excited to re-release a special remastered edition of the critically acclaimed 2013 Electronic/IDM album, Hollow Worlds, along with FiXT re-releasing Comaduster's 2017 album Solace, ahead of new material later in Fall/Winter 2018. Plus, for the first time ever, the instrumental versions of each track from Hollow Worlds will be available in November 2018.

Drawing from a deep well of influences, Hollow Worlds encompasses a distinctive range of musical styles skillfully incorporating elements of industrial, dubstep, EDM, post-rock, glitch, IDM, ambient, and pop music into a wholly polished and cohesive assembly of work that garners cerebral as well as dancefloor allure. From start to finish, Hollow Worlds executes a potent strike, sustaining a proficient balance of bass-heavy beats, gushing synth melodies, taut rhythmic structures, and absorbing lyrics with humanistic vocals to match.

Unlike many artists who attempt such audacious genre hybrids, Comaduster dispatches it masterfully, resulting in an accomplished collection of tangible songs that authenticate an intriguing and seductive contrast between complexity and accessibility. This musical skill set puts him right at home with the rest of the genre-blending roster of FiXT. Reasonable parallels can be likened to the sounds of such influential acts as Haujobb and Hecq, however Comaduster has commanded these influences as mere inspirational ingredients to create a transcendent style and distinguished sound to claim as his own.

I really dig this album. It's not quite industrial but not quite electronica. Definitely has a bit of a 90s post-grunge vibe while having an original sound. This is electronic music that a classic metalhead such as myself can thoroughly enjoy because it rocks but also has a lot of variety from song to song. dharmalogos
